About Amrita Bindu
Amrita Bindu is a unique combination of ayurvedic medicines which was formulated for a wide variety of gastric diseases like acidity, chest burn, gas trouble, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, stomach bloating, belching, flatulence etc.
It has ingredients which helps to heal the lacerations, erosions etc in the intestinal and gastric mucosa, regulates the secretion of acid in the stomach and gives a soothing action to the mucosalmembrane. It also decrease the irritability of the nerves which also helps in controlling the over secretion of digestive juices. Amrita Bindu is also a good carminative medicine which helps in improving the digestion and proper assimilation of food. It is also being used as a remedy for food poisoning and related symptoms like diarrhoea etc.
Amrita Bindu is being used widely all over south India for over 25 years. Extensive clinical studies have been conducted by the labs at Care keralam under the Ayush department and the results were very promising. Even animal studies and toxicity studies have been conducted and found that the product is very safe and free form any kinds of side effects even in prolonged use.
Clinical Trials
Shankar Pharmacy has done extensive studies before this product was brought out for marketing, almost 87% of the patients responded positively when administered with ulset, showing some kind of improvement in their symptoms related to stomach . Among this 17% of the patients showed a slight increase in symptoms like pain and burning sensation (This is due to the healing process) However about 8% of the patients were neutral showing no increase of decrease in symptoms . 3% discontinued the treatment due to some reasons unknown. 25 of the patients showed intolerence to the medicine and complained of increase in their symptoms.
Overdose
Although Amrita Bindu is found to be a very safe medicine which can be used for prolonged periods without any side effects it is always advised that the medicine should be used in the recommended dosage.
Notes: Patients may pass dark stools while taking the medicine.

Indication: Acidity, Gastriris, Gas Trouble, Belching, Sour Erructation, Acid Peptic Disease(Apd), Irritable Bowel Syndrome(Ibs)
Dosage: 2Ml Plus 30Ml Boiled And Cooled Water Three Times A Day Or As Directed By The Physician
Notes: Some Patients Report An Increase In The Pain Initially; In Which Case The Dose Should Be Reduced Till The Pain Subside
