Key Ingredients

Amla Indian Gooseberry (Embilica officinalis)

Emblic officinalis is highly nutritious and is an important dietary source of Vitamin C, minerals and amino acids. The dominant active constituent of the herb is a group of tannins derived from Gallic and ellagic acids, which make up a large portion of the extractable non-nutritive constituents. All of these constituents work together to enhance immunity, rejuvenate skin, combat premature aging and hyperacidity.

As a rejuvenative herb, it nourishes body tissues and accelerates the cell regeneration process. As a powerful antioxidant, Emblic Myrobalan helps scavenge free radicals linked to premature aging. It helps in building the body’s immune system and provides resistance against many diseases, especially those of the respiratory tract.

Ashwagandha Indian Ginseng (Withania somnifera)

The root contains steroidal compounds which include the lactones Withaferin A and carbon-27-glycowithanolide, known collectively as the Withanolides. The Withanolides are responsible for the varied medicinal applications of the herb. Winter Cherry also contains a fair amount of alkaloids including tropine, pseudotropine, isopelletrine, anaferine and saponins, which impart medicinal properties to the herb.

Indian Ginseng or Winter Cherry

Yashtimadhu Licorice (Glycirrhiza Glabra)

The principal constituent of Licorice to which it owes its characteristic sweet taste is glycyrrhizin. Other constituents present in Licorice are glucose, sucrose, mannite, starch, asparagine, bitter principals, resins, a volatile oil and coloring matter, which collectively give Licorice its pharmacological properties.

Licorice lowers stomach acid levels, relieves heartburn and indigestion and prevents ulcer formation. Through its beneficial action on the liver, it increases bile flow and lowers cholesterol levels. in the respiratory system, its soothing and healing action reduces irritation and inflammation. Licorice enhances immunity by boosting levels of interferon, a key immune system chemical that fights off viruses. The phytoestrogens in Licorice have a mild estrogenic effect, making the herb potentially useful in easing certain symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), such as irritability, bloating and breast tenderness.
