Why Triphala?
‘Triphala’ stands for the group of three berries, namely Embilica Officinalis, Terminalia chebula and Terminalia bellirica, an indispensable part of the Ayurvedic materia medica. It is a versatile combination capable of balancing the Tridoshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha elements), boosting immunity, improving gut health and rejuvenating the body single-handedly.
Regular bowel movement is an indication of robust digestion and metabolism. Constipation is when a person has less than three bowel movements a week or exceptionally difficult voiding of the bowel. The reason may be dehydration, lack of dietary fiber, physical inactivity or medication side effects. Triphala, naturally brings about mild laxation and ensures a healthy bowel.
